Facilitators:

Dr. Monika Reuter, a member of the board of directors at SAGE, and a faculty member at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, has been doing research on the concept of 'creativity' for the past eight years. She wrote and published, “Creativity_A Sociological Approach” in 2015. In this book, Dr. Reuter introduces the first macro-sociological perspective on the concept of creativity this book includes a review of ten domains which have studied creativity. It also explores the results of a six-year on-going research project comparing students' ideas on creativity with employers' and industry professionals' views.

Dr. Jill Morris is the founder and clinical director of the Sage Institute. During the last 10 years, she has traveled to three continents to attend and present at conferences dedicated to creativity. She has been in private practice in south Florida since 1994 and provides counseling for individuals, couples, families and organizations. In addition, she has served as adjunct faculty for the last ten years at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Morris is also a AAMFT Approved Supervisor, a designation reserved for only the most dedicated to the field.


Prof. Diane Sammet holds advanced degrees from both Columbia University and The University of Hartford, in addition to an undergraduate degree from The Rhode Island School of Design. For over two decades she has consulted and created both graphic design and illustrations for a myriad of clients from all over the United States. As well as being a practicing “creative” she teaches at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, inspiring the next generation of innovative problem-solvers. Ms. Sammet brings her proven “out-of-the-box” methods for breaking through creative barriers to this workshop.
